As a community of faith, we gather regularly at York Street Methodist Church to worship God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit; pray and study the Bible together to grow in our faith.

As a Christian community, we provide a safe place for all, both young and old, to explore their faith and grow in confidence as Christians.

As individuals, we are committed to working out what our faith means to us in our daily lives through prayer and reflection; and we strive to share the love of Jesus with others.

As sisters and brothers in Christ, we support one another in our faith journeys, praying together, enjoying fellowship, being good neighbours, challenging injustice.

As followers of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, we seek to live in his love and light, resisting hate, violence and war; choosing peacemaking through prayer, worship, study and public witness.

As part of The Methodist Church and the worldwide Christian community, we commit to building relationships with our sisters and brothers in faith in Broadstairs and beyond.

As members of a diverse and sometimes fractured world, we feel compelled to engage positively with our neighbours of other faiths whenever possible, and also with others of no faith."
